Through his sub-specialized training and practice, Dr. Jeffrey Joseph brings the highest level of contemporary oculoplastic care to Newport Beach. Dr. Joseph is a member of a limited group of board-certified ophthalmologists with additional sub-specialty training in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, also known as oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Joseph focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, the surrounding facial structures, the lacrimal or tear drainage system, and the orbit or “eye socket”.

In our Newport Beach practice, Dr. Joseph provides a myriad of facial aesthetic services and procedures. Dr. Joseph’s aesthetic approach focuses on the eyes as the center from which we derive our facial identity and appearance. Pathology of the eyelids and periocular area is uniquely challenging. Dr. Joseph’s training and experience allows him to preserve or return the form and function of the eyelids that is vital for the health of the eyes and vision. Because a variety of issues may present in this area that can threaten the function and appearance of the eyes, a sub-specialty approach benefits both the patient and the referring doctor. Dr. Joseph’s practice is uniquely dedicated to perfecting the aesthetic and functional results of oculoplastic surgery.
